Your presence has undoubtedly added grandeur and vibrancy to this momentous occasion.
I would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to our esteemed Chief Guest Minister of Higher Education Dr.Ibrahim Hassan. Your presence here tonight serves as a testament to your unwavering commitment to addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change and disaster prevention. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished dignitaries, delegates, and invitees who have joined us from around the world. Your expertise and insights have undoubtedly enriched our discussions and deliberations throughout this summit.
I would like to extend a special word of thanks to the ABU President, the top executives, and all the members of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. We are deeply grateful for your trust and support in choosing the Maldives as the host country for the 7th ABU Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Prevention. It is truly a privilege for us to have been entrusted with this responsibility.
I would also like to acknowledge the invaluable support extended by the President's Office, the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, and all the independent field experts who graciously participated in our panel discussions. Your contributions have been instrumental in shaping the outcomes of this summit, and we are deeply grateful for your dedication and expertise.

Your passion and commitment to addressing the pressing issues of our time have played a crucial role in making this summit a truly fruitful and impactful gathering.
Tonight, I would also like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the distinguished winners of the ABU UNESCO T4P Media Awards. Your exemplary work in advocating for environmental consciousness through media is a testament to the power of storytelling and the impact it can have on shaping public opinion and policy.

I would like to ask each of you to continue talking about the effects of climate change and carry on the informing the public. Climate change is real, and it affects each one of us whether we are from a huge and developed country or not. So, please, for our survival, continue making the public more aware and achieve a lasting solution.
