Every day we face challenges whether it be at work or just life in general, then this book will help you think about those challenges and help you tackle them in the most efficient way possible.

Adam Grant discusses democratic norms in the book, specifically about the notion of “agree to disagree” when it comes to general discussions. But the thing is, we don’t have to always fall back on that notion. There are several aspects to compromise in a negotiation, and we have to look broader to solution of a discussion than between the two sides of a coin, we need to gaze the solution from a prism perspective.

Adam also discusses motivational interviews in the book, things that influence people and their handheld perceptions and beliefs. These can also influence people to make progressive change.

To open for rethinking one key ingredient is allowing communication to criticize, as Adam reiterates that communication is a key element in rethinking and revising a process.

All in all, I really enjoyed reading this book and if you want to make yourself more mentally agile in the avenues of communication and critical thinking then this is a must-read!
