Last year December I was in Dhiffushi, the island is about 45 minutes from Male’ by speed boat.
The island has few guest houses, however, there are many in construction stage. It is expected, most of the guest house will be open this year, will make island economy go buzzing.
There are daily boat transfers to the island, makes traveling to the island easier and convenient.
The island has a population of around 1000, yet all of them do not reside in the island.
The island is about a kilometer long and 200m in width.
I thought of running along the beach area of the island, Dhiffushi has a large lagoon, very suitable for water sports and snorkeling. If you want to see the beach and sea around the island please watch video below.
